- Time: 20 min
- Serves 4
- 2-3 tbs butter
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onions
- 1 pound 93% lean or leaner ground beef
- 2-3 cloves garlic
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- Salt and pepper
Heat saucepan to medium-high heat. Add butter and chopped onions; cook until onions are translucent, making sure not to brown the butter.
Add beef, garlic, salt and pepper; cook 8 to 10 minutes, breaking ground beef into 3/4-inch crumbles and stirring occasionally.
Add cream of chicken soup and reduce heat to a simmer for five minutes.
Remove from heat. Add sour cream. Mix thoroughly. Serve over egg noodles or rice.
160º F. Color is not a reliable indicator of ground beef doneness.
