The Kansas Beef Council has many resources to help educate consumers, youth and the general public about beef. See below the different order forms specific to your profession. Questions about materials or orders can be directed to kbc@kansasbeef.org or deena@kansasbeef.org.

Teachers:  Teachfree.com provides preschool through 12th grade educators with high-quality educational materials that supplement the curriculum. Resources can also be downloaded for use in the classroom.

Meet the Power Foods - This kit contains a PowerFoods poster and a CD that contains a PowerPoint teaching students in 4th and 5th grades about MyPyramid. 

Caretakers All - Originally published in 1992, Caretakers All is a popular environmental education program for grades 4-7.  Caretakers All consists of six lessons: Caretakers of Animals, Caretakers of Water, Caretakers of Soil, Caretakers of Plants, Caretakers of Resources and Caretakers of Community. In the first five lessons students explore environmental issues and learn the principles of good caretaking by studying ways farmers and ranchers protect the natural resources in their care. In lesson 6, students discover the ways they can become caretakers in their own communities.

Family Mealtimes - This kit is designed for use with parent groups connected to schools, youth organizations and clubs. It provides everything needed to promote family mealtimes, including:

• Background information on the health, weight and nutrition issues facing today's children
• Evidence supporting the nutrition, health, academic and behavioral benefits of family mealtimes for children
• Detailed instructions for a family mealtime promotion and/or challenge
• Reproducible handouts including calendars, tasty beef recipes, shopping lists, and conversation starters
• PowerPoint presentations to use in promoting family mealtimes to parent groups
• List of additional family mealtime resources.
